Love yourself!

Loving what you have is sometimes hard, especially when you are being influenced with the mainstream. Like, the mainstream tells you to love K-Pop because that is trendy and what not. However,   I am proud of myself because I don’t easily get caught with all those influences because actually, I more prefer indie and underground. I get bothered with the mainstream and overrated. For example, I am in love with Birdy, Bon Iver, Ed Sheeran (though he’s getting mainstream, slowly), Ellie Goulding, Regina Spektor, Snow Patrol, The Smiths, Kings of Leon, The Lumineers, and m2m. Though I like the songs of Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff and Rihanna, still, I get a better feeling listening to indie songs. Because, this is what I have – a passion for the not-so-typical.

Now, let me go deeper, in cases like physical features, we usually don’t get contented because the mainstream media always show the ugh… TYPICAL features or the ideals of a hot gorgeous gal – skinny, white complexioned, with straight and sleek hair, high-lifted nose, thin pinky lips and on and on. And so, we try to reach those goals in order to fit in. That’s why, the market takes advantage of it by producing a lot of products and services that will provide avenues for achieving all those ideals. Now, what I’m here for is to understand, uhmm, no, to truly comprehend and appreciate WHAT WE HAVE!!!! Btw, don’t get me wrong, I am not telling that we’ll just be satisfied even if we look so untidy, nope, it’s not that. What I mean is that we’ll have to appreciate or better yet, love our in-born features. The gifts, I mean, if that’s how we look at it. For instance, I have a wavy hair. That’s hereditary. Sometimes, I ought to treat it with unnatural treatments like hair relax or semi-rebond to make it straight but after a while, I always end up to what’s with me. Later on, I have much realized that the type of hair strands I have is cool  and gorgeous. It just depends on how I accept it and flaunt it. This type of hair is not actually a mainstream type of ideal hair in the Philippines, lest unusual. But soon I have known that this type of hair is well-loved by most elegant ladies especially in hollywood (now, it’s more mainstream but taken that I’m in the territory of the Philippine Islands, it’s not that too hot in here). With that, I super love my hair, like, to death. But I still have to grow it into waist-length para perfect xD Plus, it’ll make me casually elegant because I can wear a hair like this down or tailed.

I wanna grow my hair like these!

Well, if you’ll ask me. What made me change my perspective of what is “beautiful” about something? SIMPLE. I changed my eye sockets. Haha yeah, yeah… I changed it because given that we are all different from one another which makes us the same, I wanted to be “the all-unique super gal” I will be proud of because I haven’t changed anything. More like, I feel happy because I know I am beautiful because this is the 98% of myself, NO CHANGES AT ALL. It’s also ego-feeding, and we can’t deny that. But hey, I am not saying, we should abandon all the enhancers because treatments and services that will truly change the nature of your features is different from mere enhancers. Like, rebond, what it does to your hair is counter the natural strand of your hair. Now, haven’t you think of changing your eye sockets first? In order to realize the beauty of your original hair? HAHA It’s an eye opener. Again, if you let your eyes be opened. In the end, it’s an individual choice.

HAPPY ME :)))))))))))))))))) LIVING A LIFE OF CONTENTMENT!!!!!

Labels to Love

We are raised not in an elite family or what, but in just a simple or shall we say poor ancestry. But my mother taught us to value things, likewise to patronize “branded” clothes, shoes, pants, bags, etc. Since we were born, as she what told us… She would really buy us the expensive things we could ever had so long as we have extra amount of money to spend for subsistence and wants, of course. Until now, because of the culture and practice of the past, I and my 2 brothers rest in things with names. Even now, we are like experts in branded clothing because also of cousins, aunts and uncles who introduced us to different clothing lines and influenced us too. Going to the mall, though I don’t have money, still I just feel so satisfied doing window shopping especially on boutiques I adore the most because of their gorgeous clothes! And by the time, I’ll have enough amount in my pocket, I’d really buy all those what I call my “prospects” 😀

These are just some of my favorite clothing lines:

Clothes in these clothing lines/RTW lines are just exquisitely beautiful. Very chic and sometimes hippy. Gotta love them all ❤

This Holiday season, I hope I’d receive gifts with all those clothes from Santa this Dec. 24, 2012. Haha! MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Pastel Dream. Neon Ecstasy.

These hues are just my favorites to death!

Pastel- a low saturated color of light and crisp I truly adore. Things with pastel colors are way cuter, feminine, sweet and candid.

Just like these…

Sorbet-like shades ❤ – bitter lemon, mint and cantaloupe are so spring-in-touch just can’t get off myself with it.

Neon- a high saturated hue that is too hot, frantic and fierce! Rawr!

Neon is so bold, upbeat and luminous that it invigorates the eye.

At the hosts’ podium

I just made it to my bestfriend’s debut party and it was so fun. The theme was fairy-fantasy, well it really reflected in the venue with all the lily centerpiece and the leafless tree with colorful butterflies and everyone else in the hall. It was like a dream, more so with my outfit. I just love it although it was so short that I couldn’t help but be conscious. Haha. I am not used to such glamour kase. Sarehh.. The program was reachable because of the smooth flow of activities plus with all known people around.

Let me share some of the photos I got!

The entire evening was such a dreamy. Relaxing and fabulous! 😉 But most of all, what I love with that evening is that, I was able to see the debutante and the rest of my HS buddies.

Not a burden in my back!

I am used to carrying backpack/knapsack in going to school because it is really convenient like it can carry a lot. You just load your bag with school supplies then you’re good to go! But it gets harder whenever I bring my laptop, especially that I bring it everyday because of school works plus paperworks of the our discipline and of our organization. That’s why, last semester, I found myself groggy because aside from sleepless nights and long walks to reach my classroom, I have at least 2 bags to carry everyday. I bring with me my backpack or at times, sling bag or shoulder bag where I can put my personal belongings and of course, books. Then another bag for my laptop, so that’s a sling bag but sometimes, instead of my laptop sling bag I use my laptop sleeve which is more like a laptop carrier (because it has handles). But with AT LEAST 2 bags everyday? Naaaah, that’s a total burden. Double the burden when it rains coz I still have to carry my umbrella and the wet! Yikes, not an ideal life :/

But with this bag! Carrying all important things to school is not a burden anymore.

Mine

Trying it!

Samsonite tectonic backpack is really perfect for laptops because it is compact and comfortable as well plus it has plenty of compartments and the solid laptop case is durable so you really don’t have to worry with your laptop feeling homey there! Well, I am just so happy because tito bought me one because he was thinking I really need it for my things like: books, notebooks, folders, envelopes, papers, tumbler, laptop, laptop charger, phone charger, pens, flash drives, kikay kit and headphones.

With the happiness I have, I just can’t help imagining myself how would I look if I’d start using it na. And I found a blog site which also speaks about how awesome Samsonite tectonic bags are. Well here’s the link, check it for yourself so you’ll know I am not the only who takes pleasure with these bags http://www.communitycollegesuccess.com/2011/08/do-you-wear-backpack.html

From the blogsite itself, I found these pictures and it ignites me more to use mine.

Wanna look like the way she looks having the bag. Hihi

So girls, let us try to be cool, rugged, hippy and free all in one with this ideal bag! ❤

I can’t be righteous now. It’s just I love Marie Antoinette and that’s all

Feels so lucky to have ever known such a magnificent character in the name of Marie Antoinette. At first, it was only the French Elitism and Over-indulgence Style of Living which magnify me but as I’ve become more and more curious with this woman, I came to such point of loving her.

It was then I’ve known her story… And before I can be able to watch it, Wikipedia has already spoiled it. Haha but it’s okay, with or without spoiler the beauty of her being and her story will still impress me 🙂

Her life being above of everyone (though I hate bourgeoisie because most of them exploit the working class) and in the midst of solace of luxury, indulgence, exaggeration and gambling (that’s why her character was also used to symbolize for gluttony based on the Canterbury Tales) make me fall in love with French Art.

If I’d get married in the future, so probably that would be year 2019 or 2024 Haha I want to have wedding party themed like this.. OMG! I’d be happier then (only if that happens. oh my celebacy is coming nearer) and I’d really be the one to organize the wedding ceremony and reception settings. Gosh. Just with these, so I can picture-out…

And my guests would wear outfits like these (or much extravagant)

Just this time, these stuffs are something to die for! xD Such a unique theme if ever…

Because of these, I cannot be righteous at the moment because I am indulging the feeling Marie Antoinette gives me. Wew~
